WHILE IN PERSON INDOOR PROGRAMS ARE RESTRICTED:

Novice & Junior Clubs - Drop by the library.  If it's nice outside, stay for some fun.  If it isn't, take your kit and run.  (Parents must stay with their children for the outdoor program.)

Intermediate Club - TBA

*Parents must stay with any children under 6 years of age.  Parent attendance is required for the Kindergarten / Grade 1 book club.  Parent attendance is optional for the Grade 2 / Grade 3 book club.  Parents do not need to stay for the Grade 4 - Grade 7 book club.

A FREE book club for every age!  Fall session starts October 18 and runs through November 24.  YouthInk Book Clubs are available from Kindergarten through Grade 12.  (Head here for info about the Teen Book Club for the older youth.)  Kids are challenged to read award nominated books (if they do, they can vote for award winners), but ultimately choose what they would like to read.  There are incentives like paper chain links, virtual badges, leader boards, and author visits.  Members can show and share what they are reading at our weekly meetings and through the Bookclubz website.  Activities include fun questions and language related games.  If children are not able to attend the book club at the scheduled time, they can still participate through the Bookclubz website.
