Tai chi, short for T'ai chi ch'üan, or Tai ji quan, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. The term taiji refers to a philosophy of the forces of yin and yang, related to the moves. Tai Chi may help to

1. Loosen muscles
2. Build strength
3. Reduce pain
4. Improve memory
5 Aid in digestion
6 Improve circulations
7 Build bone density
8 Build immune system
9 Lower blood pressure
10 Balance emotion and is a great way to meet people!

Please register for Tuesday or Thursday Ta Chi classes 12:15-12:45 pm. Free. Please consult with your physician before attending any form of exercise program. Classes may be guided by a Tai Chi practitioner or video.
